Competency framework

CASEL

Each module is organized around the five social-emotional learning competencies of the CASEL framework, the reference standard in schools:

  • Self-awareness — naming and recognizing emotions (The Observatory).
  • Self-management — calm, breathing, control (The Lighthouse).
  • Social awareness — reading how others feel (People Powers).
  • Relationship skills — listening, including, setting limits.
  • Responsible decision-making — thinking and choosing well (coming).
Goal measurement

GAS · Goal Attainment Scaling

A scale validated in clinical and educational settings to measure progress toward a specific goal for each child, not a generic grade. The professional sets the target and tracks it in the dashboard:

Poweroo also draws on the science of inoculation / prebunking (Cambridge, Google Jigsaw) for the power to resist manipulation. We invoke that basis for reassurance — without claiming Poweroo is clinically proven to produce a specific effect.
